THE SOLO EXHIBITION 'MANY WORLDS, ONE MIND' OPENING AT CLOSE GALLERY ON JUNE 6TH HAS BEEN FEATURED IN A RECENT ARTICLE BY ART PLUGGEd
Art Plugged features Many Worlds, One Mind, a major survey exhibition by Gordon Cheung at CLOSE Gallery, on view from 6 June to 15 August 2026. Bringing together 28 works across painting, sculpture, print and etching, the exhibition explores themes of global capitalism, speculative history and digital culture through Cheung’s layered multimedia practice.
Highlights include works from the artist’s New Order series, which digitally reconfigure Dutch Golden Age still lifes using imagery sourced from the Rijksmuseum, alongside the sculptural work Passages of Time, incorporating Financial Times stock listings and references to traditional Chinese scholar’s rocks. Across the exhibition, Cheung examines the shifting boundaries between history, technology and contemporary systems of power.
Many Worlds, One Mind, runs at CLOSE Gallery from 6 June - 15 August 2026.
