Leeds 6 / Washing Lines and Cobbled Streets: After leaving Kitson Collage in Leeds, Cawston spent a year photographing LS6. Exhibiting the prints on washing lines in the University, where he had previously completed a Sociology Degree. In 2022, thirty years later he has begun a new colour series in the same area, with the plan to have an exhibition of the two projects in Leeds in 2023/24.
