Since 2018, I have been working in my studio photographing new models, consistently collaborating with the same agency. The project began as a conscious step away from the often over-produced nature of fashion photography. Working without hair or make-up, the focus was on a raw yet considered way of seeing - allowing the models to appear as they are.At times, subtle interventions were introduced: a small change in hair, the addition of a single garment, or a quiet shift in presentation. These adjustments were kept organic, never overtly styled, and always secondary to the individual in front of the camera.
Over time, my relationship with the agency deepened, and the work evolved with greater sophistication through collaboration with stylist David Nolan. Together, we refined the balance between restraint and intention, maintaining the project’s directness while allowing space for nuance and structure.
