Distinguished West Country painter and printmaker Brian Rice in conversation with art advisor Prue O'Day on 16th February 2023
We were so pleased to host the conversation between Brian Rice and art advisor Prue O’Day. Prue and Brian first met and worked together in the 1960’s and it was wonderful to reunite the pair for a talk about Brian’s work and career following an exhibition of his prints here at Close. Prue’s experience in the art world is truly unparalleled; in addition to running her own gallery she has built collections for some of the world’s major companies and collectors including Ernst & Young, Unilever and the Guggenheim Foundation among others. Such a lovely and interesting evening was had by all. A huge thank you to Brian and Prue; we hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did!
