Ritual drawings and sketches - hand drawn pieces on varying types of paper. They are made in a busy studio, amongst all paintings and materials. The drawings are free and fun and attuned to my own way of painting... they sort of dance a fine line between painting and drawing.
I never intend for them to be made in a clinical environment. They are made in the moment, as i am inspired and excited about an idea.
There is something quite beautiful about making work that is immediate and straight from your mind... if I had to implement further processes I feel they would lose their magic... they are freeing to make in and amongst the busyness of a painters studio.
