We are pleased to share a new interview with Saad Qureshi, published by FAD Magazine to coincide with his participation in LOOK OUT, our current group exhibition at CLOSE Gallery.
Qureshi reflects on the relationship between landscape, memory and imagination, discussing how the places we inhabit and the experiences we carry shape our understanding of the world. Born in Pakistan, raised in Bradford and now working between London and Oxford, Qureshi draws on personal and shared memories to create intricate sculptural landscapes that exist somewhere between the real and the imagined.
The interview explores Qureshi’s idea of “mindscapes” - places reconstructed through fragments of memory, sensory experience and inherited stories. His reflections speak to the wider themes of LOOK OUT, which brings together artists spanning a century to explore landscape as both physical territory and psychological space.

LOOK OUT continues at CLOSE Gallery, Somerset, until 19 December 2026.
